A Gautschi time-stepping scheme for optimal control of linear second order systems is proposed and analyzed. Convergence rates are proved and shown to be valid in numerical experiments. The temporal discretization is combined with finite element and spectral based spatial discretizations, which are compared among themselves.  相似文献

Let M be a normally hyperbolic symplectic critical manifold of a Hamiltonian system. Suppose M consists of equilibria with real eigenvalues. We prove an analog of the Shilnikov lemma (strong version of the λ-lemma) describing the behavior of trajectories near M. Using this result, trajectories shadowing chains of homoclinic orbits to M are represented as extremals of a discrete variational problem. Then the existence of shadowing periodic orbits is proved. This paper is motivated by applications to the Poincaré’s second species solutions of the 3 body problem with 2 masses small of order µ. As µ → 0, double collisions of small bodies correspond to a symplectic critical manifold M of the regularized Hamiltonian system. Thus our results imply the existence of Poincaré’s second species (nearly collision) periodic solutions for the unrestricted 3 body problem.  相似文献

Let a(n) be the number of nonisomorphic abelian groups of order n. We obtain a short interval result for the local density of a(n). More generally, we get short interval version of results of Ivi? on the local density of prime independent multiplicative functions. Also we prove a short interval version of the theorem of Erdös and Szekeres on the summatory function of a(n) and the theorem of Greenberg and Newman on the enumeration of a certain type of finite solvable groups.  相似文献

This paper considers reductions between types of numberings; these reductions preserve the Rogers Semilattice of the numberings reduced and also preserve the number of minimal and positive degrees in their semilattice. It is shown how to use these reductions to simplify some constructions of specific semilattices. Furthermore, it is shown that for the basic types of numberings, one can reduce the left-r.e. numberings to the r.e. numberings and the k-r.e. numberings to the (k+1)-r.e. numberings; all further reductions are obtained by concatenating these reductions.  相似文献

We study the problem of optimal control of a Chaplygin ball on a plane by means of 3 internal rotors. Using Pontryagin maximum principle, the equations of extremals are reduced to Hamiltonian equations in group variables.
